OUR STORY
Sky Streaming Technologies was founded in 2021 by an IT enthusiast who wanted to bridge the gap between traditional broadcasting and modern IP delivery. From the beginning, the company has focused on practical engineering, dependable service and technologies that can support professional video operations at scale. We work across the full streaming chain, including live contribution, IP transport, encoding and transcoding, IPTV/OTT delivery, adaptive streaming, origin infrastructure and network distribution.

Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) is widely used to publish live video from encoders, production systems and streaming applications to a media server. It is well suited to broadcaster contribution, live event ingest and encoder-to-server workflows where broad encoder and software compatibility is important.
RELIABLE TRANSPORT · LOW LATENCY
Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) is designed for professional video contribution across unpredictable IP networks. It uses packet recovery and latency buffering to help maintain stream continuity when networks experience packet loss, jitter or variable conditions.
ABR · HTTP DELIVERY · OTT
MPEG-DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) packages video into segmented media representations at multiple bitrates and resolutions. A DASH-capable player can select an appropriate representation as available bandwidth and device conditions change.
END-TO-END WORKFLOW
A typical professional workflow can accept RTMP or SRT from a source encoder, process and transcode the incoming feed, package it into adaptive streaming formats such as MPEG-DASH or HLS, and distribute the resulting segments through an origin and CDN. Monitoring, redundancy, recording, DRM and access control can be added according to the deployment requirements.
